Fall 2018 Trip North- Day 3, Part 2- Michigan

We went a bit out of our way to get to Sturgis, Michigan where the gas was about 30 cents cheaper.

Langley Covered Bridge
One of our first small showers.
We had traveled a couple of cloudy days, which was ok since it had been so hot and humid.
To this point we'd only gone through minute showers or arrived just after a shower.
We managed to keep big rains south or north of us all the time.
One of the longest bridges we had seen and driven over.

  1. Is my memory serving me correctly in thinking that Sturgis has some sort of huge festival....or is it because it's known for a big fabric store? I'm thinking in terms of cars/motorcycles but have no idea if that's the case.

  2. Don't tell me I missed a big fabric store! I need to research this town a bit more.
