Fall 2018 Trip North- Day 2, Part 1- More Ohio Covered Bridges

After a comfortable night at Springsboro, OH
and a routine hotel hot breakfast,
we grabbed one of their snack bags as we left
and pulled up more covered bridges we had not seen on my phone's google map.
The first bridge google led us to was the Leslie Rothman covered bridge.
We were directed to a cemetery entrance!
A lady just happened to meet us and told us the bridge could not be seen from any road.
It was on the back neighbor's property.
I probably would have found this out if I had used the covered bridge website I usually us.
Also, there are 2 review notes that said such, which I did not take the time to check.
HOWEVER,
look at the beautiful statues this cemetery had.
It was rather nice, & we thank the lady for stopping during her busy schedule
to be helpful, understanding and informative.
The best we could tell, the name of this place is
Pines Pet Cemetery and Cremation Center

Here is the back of the cemetery and we assumed
the property line.
No covered bridge can be seen.

 Next covered bridge was
Corwin Nixon Covered Bridge.

Number 3 bridge for the day was Engle Mill Road Covered Bridge

Love this shot.
Good job Mr. G!

  1. A pet cemetery - how wonderful is that! I've heard of them of course but haven't seen one. Your trip sounds like the type my husband and I like - we love to travel the back roads and be able to stop whenever we want.

  2. Thank you for sharing this. And showing us the Pet Cemetery, I remember our first pet was buried and recently, we tried the pet cremation seattle wa and the pain still the same. Instead of grieving, I challenge myself to feel happy for my pets that they are free from pain anymore. And now, they are my angel watching me.
