Our Tour Guide Cousin Dave drove us over to the Space Needle for lunch.
He had made lunch reservations for all of us earlier.
My camera would mess up every time we started climbing one of the hills that reminded me of SF.
I tried my best to get a shot at the bottom of the hill.
Only succeeded in taking a shot almost at the top of the hill.
This street used to have cable cars.
They were a bit different than the SF cars. They used a counterbalance.
We were dropped off in front of these structures.
Folks with dinner reservations did not have to buy tickets for the elevator.
I'm so glad we changed our plans from the rainy day last Friday
when we also weren't able to get lunch reservations.
Visibility last Friday was very limited.
Today was absolutely beautiful!
Mt. Rainier in the background.
We were able to see sea planes land on the water.
It took 47 minutes for the restaurant to make a complete revolution.
A few notes left by people on the windows.
We really appreciate Dave treating us to lunch.
Checked out where we were yesterday.
Tour Guide Dave's house is on the other side of the hill.
If you don't want to make a reservation or can't,
you might check out the snack bar.
Those tables have great views as well.
When it was time to go back down,
only one elevator was available.
Said the other was waiting for paramedics.
Enjoyed the walk through part of the old World's Fair.
Next was a trip to the market.
In front of a fish & candy market?
Across the street.
Dave wanted to make sure we saw the "flying fish."
Rainbow carrots.
Rainbow potatoes.
The very first Starbucks.
A gentleman that turned bowls was very friendly and let me take pictures.
Greg's Uncle Keith that we had visited in Iowa makes beautiful turned bowls as well.

Then our walk back to the car.
Required way to park in some areas.
I think it's a great idea!
