QOV National Sew Day

Last Sat was the QOV National Sew Day.

I had signed up to work with a group in our local QOV Organization.

Our session was postponed due to bad road conditions. 

However, packets were available to pick up early

so we could work at home.

The packet contained directions & fabric for 2 blocks.

The HST Sampler Block provided 4 ten inch squares, 2 white, blue & red.

The following happens to make 16 half square triangles.

First a white is put right sides together with each color.

Then both pairs are stitched together then cut apart.

 The possibilities for arranging 16 HSTs seem endless.

Here were some of my thoughts, 

before the final decision which took longer than the sewing.
