Found these this past Thursday on the US 25W Yard Sale.
I don't think you can call these a "pair" of scissors?
I had never seen anything like them.
Thought maybe they cut fabric into fringe, because the blades were very sharp.
1$ was worth the thrill to try them out, & definitely a conversation piece.
So I just now tried them out.
The verdict:
They cut paper with ease.
Do you know what these scissors were meant to do?

Can be purchased on Amazon @
Update: With the help of blogging and fb friends, I've learned these shears belong in the kitchen to cut up herbs. Love learning something every day.
Right now, Amazon has a good shot of these shears. In some places they are called "Herb Shears."

yes i now it.
ReplyDeleteYou can use it in the kitchen because this is a persil trimmer. Do the persil in a cup and start clipping with the siccor. after a minute you wil have fine clipped persil what you can use in your meals our soup. In the Netherlands we do this above boiled carrrots.
Good luck with it.

Thank-you for the comment. I think you are saying it chops parsley or another herb? That would definitely work.
