Williamstown, KY
Built in part by Amish Carpenters.
Thanks to the Christian Academy of the Bluegrass for inviting me as a
thank-you for my volunteer work this school year.
I accepted it as a very big thank-you.
Mr. G came along because they said the more the merrier.
With the help of a cane, and LOTS of places to stop and sit,
Mr. G and I took about 4 hours to walk all 3 levels.

Oh, wow, that looks like a fabulous place to visit! Do you have photos of the inside?? (Please say 'yes'...pleas say 'yes')
ReplyDeleteYes! Another post tomorrow and next week. Mr. G took lots of pictures, so there is a lot more to show. We were allowed to take all the pictures we wanted, but not videos. Still, you gotta be there.
DeleteAmazing. What a fun trip. It is on my bucket list of things to see.
ReplyDeleteReally huge if replica of the original Ark. Thanks for sharing. They were working on one when we visited Tennessee - Gatlinburg few years ago but wasn't finished. Not sure what it was going to be inside. Will look forward to your inside pictures. Thanks for sharing at Pictorial Tuesday.
ReplyDeletePeabea from Peabea Scribbles
The Ark is huge because the used the actual measurements in the Bible. The purpose of the Encountered is to give us an idea of Noah's amazing task.
DeleteWow - that is amazing.
ReplyDeleteOh very very cool. For a minute there I thought we may have been there at the same time, that is, until I saw the date of this post. Thank you so much for stopping by and adding this to my Wordless Wednesday post. You got some wonderful shots. I am going to have to go check out your other posts on the Ark.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just an awesome experience? I'll be sharing my Ark Encounter pictures next week. Well, again, a small fraction of the pictures I actually took. LOL
Have a blessed day.
