While at President Lyndon B. Johnson's ranch,
we were told he spent more days at his ranch than
in D.C. at the White House.
To accomodate this job,
an air strip was built on the ranch,
and extra staff buildings were built.
It was amazing how small his work office was,
but he had the best technology going at the time.
Will our new President Elect spend more time in his homes?
Does it make any difference?
I belive George Bush also spent a lot of time at his ranch, too. He flew into Ft. Hood or another airport nearby. As long as he or she does their job, I have no problem. Congress is another issue.
