Fun Fri! Cousin's Potholders from Dad's Shirts

 

When my cousin saw that I was making pot holders/hot pads from scraps,
she asked me to make her some from her Dad/Mother's garments.
So after I finished her first quilt,
I used the scraps.
 
I believe I've finally decided on my favorite way to make these.
It's not the fastest, but the best looking way.

    What a great idea to use shirts. I would love something like this, but wouldn't want to actually use them on anything that could be yucky.

      That's a great idea. All of us first cousins at least still try to get together when possible. We are a tight bunch.
