Disappearing 4 Patch
This is most likely already out there, but I created this one on my own without directions.
Starting with a 4 patch.
For a 12½ block, use 7½ inch squares because you will lose some width in cutting block apart.
Cut 2 inches off in the following order:
left and right
and then top an bottom.
Rotate center 90 degrees (so the light corner is next to dark fabric).
Sew pieces back together, short sides first, then the longer sides.
Trim sides.
