12 ½ inch block
Idea from Queen of Stitching while looking for combining QAYG blocks.
Goal: To make a 12½ inch square
I over did the size of my beginning squares with 8 inches. Seven would work.
Two of each color for one block.
Stack all 4.
Cut a diagonal at any point. No measurement needed.
You could cut all four separately at different points for more of a wonky look.
Match up pieces and sew. You will find out why the original squares needed to be oversized.
It's very hard to match the edges to be even.
Arrange with smaller end of print meeting in the center to make the block & sew.
See other quilt blocks on Quilt Blocks Link above.
