Memory Mon 49 ~ Memories of Memory Quilt #4

Fourth quilt made from Mother and Dad's clothing.
They don't call them memory quilts for nothing.
Lots of memories stirred while you make them.
Lots of memories stirred just laying around or cuddling up with them.

I only got 2 quilts made after Dad passed and before Mother went on to be with him.
It's nice to put their fabrics together
since we will always remember them that way.

  6. I admire those of you that quilt, I haven't mastered it yet! How special it would be to have a quilt like this, something to be treasured forever and handed down through generations. Thank you for sharing at the #BloggingGrandmothersLinkParty.

  7. Beautiful. I started a quilt once. Carried the fabric around with me in a cute little bag and pulled out my little squares whenever I was waiting in the doctor's office, in the pharmacy, etc. But once I had it about half done, I lost interest. Go figure. I love what you are doing. Perhaps if I had had that incentive, the ending would have been different. I love a warm quilt. Thank you for linking up at the #BloggingGrandmothersLinkParty. I shared this post.
