A church friend gave me some of her fabrics she didn't want anymore.
I needed something to put books in for my Great Grands birthday.
So I sew!
now smiles when she picks up these cloth bags
and says,
"I know who this is from."
And it seems they use them.
Perhaps your grandie will use the bag as a library bag...I know our littles like taking a 'grandma made' bag when they go.
ReplyDeleteMy blogging friend in Ireland made me a fabric bag similar to this that I love - just the right size for books that go back and forth on our weekends in the summer. And you've reminded me about those tags which I have to get to..... hmmm, those might be a good Christmas gift for my friend who likes handmade things!
