Last month our Quilt Guild gave ourselves a wonderful quilt show.
We brought a quilt that had lots of meaning to us to the meeting to share.
It could be our first quilt we made,
a quilt given to us from our family,
a quilt someone made for us,
or just a quilt full of memories over the past.
I think we even had quilts that date back to about 1930!
This post is sharing only about half of those quilts.
This was one of the oldest, if not the oldest that was brought to the share.
Below, a quilt made in a quilt workshop.
One of the VERY talented ladies,
makes art quilts to represent an experience she had.
One piece depicted a Mexico vacation hurricane.
I could spend a lot of time "reading" her quilt work.
A math teacher retired and I believe this was her first quilt after she retired.
A quilt of her school Tshirts.
Below, is the quilting you can easily see from the back.
Of course I will show the rest of the quilts,
later.
Sorry ladies, I couldn't remember all the stories.
I was busy trying to take pictures.
