 Fidget Quilt Sewing Unit and Service Project

 for

 The Christian Academy of the Bluegrass

Objective: To develop sewing skills to use in a service project providing Fidget Quilts while developing an understanding for people that have Dementia, Alzheimer, ADD and others who need or like to keep their hands busy.

This is a 9 week unit involving 1 hour a week.

Lesson 1- Pre-Evaluation

Lesson 2- Introduction

Lessons 3-11- Making Blocks Using Sewing Skills.

Lessons 12- Sewing the blocks together, adding ties and backing.

Lesson 13- Evaluation
