Ask students to set up their assigned machines and thread them. Pre-assessment
involves observing student for success. Find out how they solve
problems. Provide no help at this point while at the same time assuring
them their problems will be solved on another day. Ask students to put
away machines to determine how long this will take in the future.

to table.
