For years, Christmas has been a time for sausage balls. I have no business making an entire batch, because I'm the only one eating them. One morning I had a craving for them, but no sausage on hand except for Italian sausage. I thought why not try that and enjoy the extra spices an Italian sausage offers. I also did a little math and made a much smaller amount just for one person.

This is the entire batch.
Nothing detailed.
Just mixed it all up.
Your hands are the best mixer
and ball rolling maker.
You know the usual,
Bake @ 350° about 12 to 15 minutes.
Also, it doesn't have to be Bisquick
just a baking mix.
Your cheese of choice will do.
I think you'll like em.
They look so good! I wonder if you could freeze them if you were to make a full batch.
ReplyDeleteYes you can freeze them before or after you bake them. Freeze separately before you bag them together so you can bake as many as you want as needed, or bake them and reheat in the microwave. I like them for breakfast.
