I'm not the best house keeper in the world,
but one thing I always try to do:
Clear off my cutting table when I finish for the day.
However, the month of December becomes a different thing.
As I try to get so many projects done during December,
some end up staying on the table,
because I will be using the same fabric to make more of the same.
Or, I've been shopping through my shelves to pull fabrics for
ideas, and here it stays
until I use it or
not.
Another thing,
I'm also just dragging by the end of the day,
and do well to turn everything off
and
collect what I need to take downstairs
It's been this way for so many Christmas Pasts
I've lost count.
It goes back to the early 70s when I had to make gifts,
because we couldn't afford to buy
at full price.
That's a bunch of memories ago.
Christmas creating is always a messy endeavour here too. I started making gifts back in the 70's too, and for the same reason. Now I've create somewhat of a monster because the expectation remains that I will make everything.
