Quilt Shot Block #52~ BQ

BQ
Pattern and tractor fabric can be purchased @ Purrsonally Yours

Since I used a directional fabric, with the help of Instructor Diane, a layout was planned to determine how many blocks would need to have the large square in the upper left, right and lower left right.
What I really liked about this block is only one seam needed to be matched.

If you consider your pattern to be non directional (designs appearing upside down), then all blocks can be made the same and simply rotated when laying out the top.

Wish I had space for a quilt design wall.  This is one quilt block pattern where you want to layout the blocks.

Update: Recently accidently found LOVE QUILTING where they also have
this block which they named "Big Block Jungle."
They provide yardage & cutting directions.

  1. Hi, Joy. I found your post on Sew Cute Tuesday. This is a very dramatic block and the farm equipment looks great with the black and white. Also love your I Spy book, a great gift for any child.
