US Flag Barn

On Cane Ridge Road between Paris & Mt. Sterling, KY
On last Thursday's Sunday drive, we were driving on a high elevated country road, and Mr. G. spotted the roof of this barn through the trees over the field.  The view was a perfect place for this person to share their patriotism.

Sharing this barn over @ Barn Charm Go check out the other amazing barns.

  1. This is great. As an American living in London England, I find this little touch of home very amusing. Wonder how many hours it took to accomplish.

  9. The green grass, the white fencing, the flag roof - a charming little package!
I'm a little curious about the two openings on either side of the wide door. At first I thought the left side was a hole but the openings appear symmetrical. Interesting.

  10. That's awesome! The flag really stands out against the white barn! That's not too far from me, either.

  11. Bless them for painting a flag on the barn's roof. That's unusual and it makes you take note right away. These people are proud to be Americans.

  16. Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. Someone mentioned seeing this roof from an airplane. We sort of had that view when it was spotted. This barn is down in a valley and the roof is seen from the main highway that over looks this little farm.
