Purple Pants Pt. 3- Doll Muff Tut

You'll find this post at several Linky Parties. Please check them out for some great ideas.

And, there were MORE scraps left from the Purple Pants leftover from Part 1 & Part 2.

So I made a quick hat using some purchase pattern pieces and skipping the part about inserting elastic and because the velveteen had stretch itself.

Then I made a muff as well.

Cut a piece about 6 inches long and as wide as you like with another piece of fabric 1/4 inch wider than the first.

Fold the under edge over the top and stitch as close to the edge as possible.  This was a fabric that won't ravel so I didn't need to double fold.
Fold in half and stitch as close to the edge as possible.  (1/4 in would be too wide.)
