Have you thought about WHY it's there?
Then I do find some things like pieces of yarn
that don't need to be there.
I thought of this question today,
when I saw a cartoon
that said their end table was full
so they didn't have to dust it.
This makes me think
I need a
pen roll carrier
so they don't keep getting scattered out of order.
They are used for Bible journaling.
Notebook for quick reference to Logins.
Who can think of all those logins?
I do have them coded.
This info won't even help my family a lot.
Papers to take notes I don't want to put in my phone.
Knitting needle guage which I'll probably put away soon,
because I won't be knitting as much.
Salt and pepper
because, Yes, I do eat my meals here a lot.
Batteries for remote.
I don't think anyone likes to
unload lap to get up to go get batteries.
My pill stash because I'm usually here
My pill stash because I'm usually here
when my pill alarm goes off.
Then do you see 2 pill bottles that don't have pills?
Are you thinking why they don't have pills?
The yarn needle has gone missing twice,
so I thought if I stash it and the stitch marker
in one of my empty
easy open bottles
it won't go missing.
The memory card goes in the other camera upstairs.
So I don't have to carry the camera
up and down stairs,
to download pics to my computer,
and create this blog,
I transport the card via this pill bottle,
in my "Up & Downstairs Travel Bag"
so as not lose it
and keep dust away.
So far I've been able to keep up with each bottle
on this table.
I think the idea is working well.
So, what's on your end table?
Thoughtful minds wanna know.
I don't have a space like this...but I do keep my morning and bedtime meds on my nightstand in a pretty bowl. A tumbler of water on a coaster is always there. Does that count? ha!
ReplyDeleteMost certainly. They have purpose.
DeleteThe end table in our living room which sits between us holds...the phone, a box of tissues, several different sizes of DPN's; a small vial of large-eyed needles (for sewing knitting projects); a pottery jar that holds the tv remotes; a small tape measure; an eraser and several errant stitch markers. Oh, and a couple slate coasters to hold our hot drinks.
