One of the Christmas gifts made for this past year. I was able to buy a variety pack of tea to put into these wallets.
This could also be used to hold a variety of cards.
There are several videos that show how to make these with different closures.
- Cut 2 pieces of fabric the size you would like for your wallet.
- Cut 3 pieces of fabric the same width as the fabric above, and the size you'd like pockets to be when you fold them in half.
- Interface fabric pieces if you like. I decide according to the thickness and body of fabric.
- Space the pockets apart evenly, to fit your tea packets.
Mark and stitch down the middle
Place backing right side facing pockets.
Stitch around all edges quarter inch
leaving an opening for turning.
Turn inside out.
Top stitch all edges less than quarter inch
just wide enough to close opening.
