Fun Fri~ Refining Rib Knitting

No matter how old we get,
we can always find something new
to learn to do.

I have finished a Rib Knit hat
for my great grand son.
I see some improvement
from the first project below
that I worked on about 4 months ago.

I had to redo about 5 rows
in the hat above,
while the first project
was a matter of totally
restarting about 3 times
and it still turned out goofy.

Both used the same yarn (except color)
and needles and pattern.

In between projects,
I only did simple knitting
and one pot holder that
required knit/purl.

While I have friends that brag of their extensive
list of books read over the past year,
I guess I get to talk about
refining quilt piecing, knitting and crocheting?
I do listen to audio books
while having fun learning new crafts.

Thoughtful Thurs~ Another Just Knitting Scarf

This was for my grand son-in-law
who is a realtor of fine real estate.
He immediately put it on after opening the gift
and said is would be perfect.
It is a very soft scarf.
Finally using up yarn
bought about 5 years ago in Florida.
