Fun Fri~ Installing Snaps on Baby Bibs

 

One of my good friends moved to Florida 

and gave me her box of sewing notions.

That box included "No Sew Snaps."

Back in the 70s when I made clothes for my babies,

I always shied away from any pattern that called for snaps 

like onesies, jumpsuits or bloomers.

 

Taking a closer look at this package,

I saw a device enclosed to help install the snaps.

I had made several scrappy bibs,

so thought I would try them.

 

The first one turned out just right.

As I applied more,

the turnout was about 50% successful.

I used button/buttonholes or hook n loop tape on the rest.

 

Thoughtful Thurs 187~ Me Without You

 

A quilt presented in our spring quilt show

touched my heart so much.

It clearly explained how I feel

without Mr. G in my life.

I so miss him.

I understand the squares are machine embroidered.

Mon Memory 133~ America Gets to Celebrate Because

 

One reason we get to celebrate

today in the United States

is because of these people.

Including my Sweet Mr. G.

I miss him SO much

especially on holidays.

Holidays seem to enhance the loneliness

even though I may spend it

with family and friends.

 

I plan to make a visit here,

to be near to him

and pay tribute

to all these patriots 

as I go by to be with my family

on this holiday.

left all of us.
