Tues Tutorial~ Four Crochet Borders for Fleece Blankets

Here are 4 different borders you can crochet on fleece. A special rotary blade really saves time.  You can crochet the edge of a 36 x 40 inch fleece blanket in an afternoon of watching a movie or ball game.

Two yards of fleece was folded in fourths and cut into 4 blankets.
Each corner was rounded.

Thank goodness some lady
was making enough of these
to have the need to create this blade
for the rest of us to purchase.

Do I have to tell you I got it off a site
named after a river in South America?

Run the blade about a half inch from the edge of the blanket all around.
Place a pin where the cutting starts,
and try to stop at that point.

These are the holes you do your initial single crochet row through.
With the right side of the fleece facing you
slightly fold the edge backwards as you crochet.
So you are crocheting over a small fold,
not the exact edge of the blanket.

All edges start with a round of single crochet in each hole.

Note: It took one skein plus a 12 inch piece to do all 4 with the white.
I lost the yarn chicken challenge.
