Awesome! Are they young eagles?
ReplyDeleteWow, wonder why they were staring at the farmer. Are buzzards both scavengers and predators? Maybe they were hoping that the farmer disturb some prey.
ReplyDeleteAfter a web search, I believe these to be Turkey Vultures, known to some as Buzzards. The information I keep finding is they are only scavengers. These birds are still hanging around that tree. I'm beginning to think there is a nest somewhere. Research has told me they make their nest on ground which I found surprising. So I guess the top of the tree is there lookout over the nest? Hoping my blog friend over at "hey BJK Outdoors" will give us some info?
