Sun Best~ Kentucky State Bird

Kentucky State Bird

It doesn't migrate during the year.

It is a common bird of many states.

They are a beautiful contrast against the green trees and bushes,

or the snow.

Quilt Shot Block #112 ~ Coxey Camp

Coxey Camp

This block was a part of my Quilt Guild Challenge for last year entitled "Home."

This quilt was about the farm I grew up on and my family.

This block included my family name.

Found the block pattern in an old book I've had since the 1980s.

Wordless Wednesday #283 ~ Drawn by the Camera

My daughter took my camera last weekend to take pictures

at my grand daughter's graduation from Western Kentucky University.

Either my other grand daughter or son-in-law was messing with my camera.

I've got to find out what setting this is on.

This was a picture in the front yard of their papa.

Yes, after some health issues that have become slightly better,

I think I'm back!

Happy birthday to my baby girl today!
