Farmers Rural Electric History Quilt ~ 75th Anniversary

This is not a quilt I made, but one I saw at the Kentucky State Fair last year.
I grew up with FRECC.  Pictures alone are fascinating, but the quilt is amazing and awesome.
Thank-you Martha Martin for sharing this at the state fair for all of use to see.

Only 75 years ago?  That's not too long ago.

Some of the first electric poles put up.  We always called them "light poles." I guess because they brought us light first?

Congratulations Martha Martin, you did an awesome job.

Note: I viewed this quilt at last year's Kentucky State Fair and failed to post.
Now it's almost time for this year's fair which I like to attend and always visit the quilt exhibit.
