The
highlight of this past week was spending 3 hours at the Extension office
with 9 other humming sewing machines making dresses for Ghana Girls. I
got 2 of the 15 made. I'd do this every month. So enjoyed it.
Twice over the past years, when I happened to learn about the event, I've worked with groups making pillow case dresses and t-shirt dresses to be sent overseas. I've made pillow cases to donate to those that pick up children that have to leave quickly and need something to carry their belongings. Something that makes me realize how lucky I was as a child.
The fabrics were donated by others.

on a day like this.
