Its 7 months later, and I still can't breathe. I'm SO exhausted ALL the time. Just heard a theory yesterday that says the touch or words we got daily/hourly from our loved one, provided a constant dose of dopamine. Mr. G was a constant source of dopamine for me for sure. When our loved one is suddenly not there, our body goes through a sudden crash like a drug addict goes through. The sudden lack of constant doses of dopamine causes extensive exhaustion. Makes a LOT of sense to me. So maybe many of us shouldn't be blaming COVID for a long term effect if we've lost a special one.
So Sorry for your loss. Hugs and prayers.
