Just about all the time now,
I give gifts in my homemade gift bags.
I'm saving paper since I have so much fabric.
Most, especially my family,
reuse these bags
especially when they don't look seasonal.

So consider using a Christmas fabric or
fabric for whatever holiday.
 These bags were made for
our Vacation Bible School one year
so I had to figure out a
quick way to make 50 bags.
These will hold a book,
but you can change dimensions to suit your gift.
There are many more gift bag ideas

I upcycled one of my Mother's sweat shirts for this

Again several tutorials for making tags and cards from fabric scraps.
so they cost nothing,
because you are grabbing stuff
before it goes into the trash can.

So check out the
to find more ideas you
might need or want for Christmas
or any Giving season you have in mind.

  1. I was just thinking about pulling out my old patterns and making myself a new tote. I want to get back into sewing!
