Quilt Shot Block #65 ~ Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania
12½ inch square
Basically for 1 square, you can start out with 2½ inch strips and a 4½ inch square.

Remember I'm following a set of colors found
in the inside cover of the novel.
The stitching order happens in the same manner as Courthouse Steps
except you must add the 2½ inch squares on end of 2 strips (chain stitch)
before you add them to the side of the block.
Numbers above indicate the order of stitching including chain stitching of squares on end of strips.

My calculations didn't work out at first.  Doing math late at night is not a good thing, because you can start thinking a square equals 2 inches instead of an inch.  I did catch the mistake before I cut.

Suggested cutting for strip method if making several blocks.
This might be faster than cutting individual 2½ inch squares?
