I have so enjoyed
knitting cotton dish clothes
during this past winter.
for a house warming gift.
Then, as long as
I had the cotton yarn
I kept going.
making a triangle scarf.
The beginning stitches
seemed very complicated.
Realizing the beginning part of the
dish cloth was a triangle,
I wondered why a scarf
couldn't be that simple.
The dish cloth pattern
has a border I really like.
So I pulled out a soft yarn of a
spring color.
It does remind me of the "new"
Christmas green too.
So I started with the directions of the
dish cloth
through row 2
and just kept going.
Did not move on to Row 3.
I kept increasing and
got to where I had enough
to bind off.
Actually, I went a row to far
and had to undo a row
then bind off.
I have no idea
how many rows were knitted.
with a border
knitting pattern for you.
Have fun.
This is something I always wanted to do. Hopefully some day I will sit patiently and learn!
ReplyDeleteWhen you decide to learn, check out You Tube for "Continental" knitting. I actually developed that method to relieve my arthritis, then later found out there is a name for it. Then try this pattern because it only uses the knitting stitch.
