Apparently they did a wipe out of all decorations before Memorial Day, because I'm sure the flag that was here wasn't faded which would be a just reason to remove. However, I noticed an identical flag at the foot of his grave, behind the stone in front of his grave?
I placed a new flag. So now his grave is decorated with flags on both ends. These little flags are easy for the caretakers to weed eat around which is one reason they stay so long.
I'm amazed at the fantastic upkeep of this cemetery.
Makes me feel even more proud of our country.
I'm so grateful for the people that work here.
It's time for a June trip now.
It's wonderful that there are people who are caring for the cemetery because so many of them are being left to get overgrown and even lost.
