I wasn't too happy with the first blanket.
This is my second one to edge.
Still not crazy about how it finished.
Much happier with it.
Especially the work around the corner.
I loosened the tension a great deal.

I understand the UK NICU serves about 90 babies at one time.
My goodness - that many wee ones in NICU at the same time.
ReplyDeleteA hint you probably already know is when you come to a corner add a few extra stitches (and thus the pattern will be 'extra' too). That way it will wrap around without puckering.
Thanks for the tip. We were told to cut the corners in round and that helped, but I still increased stitches. Easing up on tension helped a lot. I just needed to relax.
