Quilt Shot Block #50~ HST ~ Nov Midnight Mystery Quilt

This is one of the memory quilts
being made from Mother & Dad's clothing.
Instructed to make 12 Half Square Triangles.
 Squares were combined.
Stitched 1/4 inch from each side of diagonal line, then cut apart on that line.
I really like using these gel pins from IKEA to mark the fabric.
They mark easily over the fabric, and don't bleed through.
The HSTs were combined with a rectangle in the center.

Combined 18 of the Flying Geese with the Square in Square.
Combined the rest and added a square in the middle.
I had enough left from the shirts that I started this quilt to make the new HSTs.
Really enjoying this Mystery Quilt, because I still don't have a clue as to how it will turn out.
I have not peaked ahead to see the finished quilt.
So this pile is now waiting for the December instructions.
