UK Coasters

    Recently made a set of these coasters as part of a wedding gift for a University of KY fan.  Wishing their marriage coasts through life and lasts a lot longer than these coasters.

Super Simple Coasters

As you can see, those coasters were left with a raw edge to ravel.

 The UK coasters have an added satin edge.

 After I cut them out of the hoop,

a line of stitching was added to each side of the satin stitch.

The UK symbol was digitized using the free Collegiate font found on the Sewing Forum. I don't see it there anymore. Due to possible copyright issues, the UK symbol is not being shared.  These coasters have only been made for gifting.

Be creative and add any letter or embroidery design to the center of these coasters. Have fun!
