The barns started fascinating us as much as the bridges.
This barn depicted the bridge that was a quarter mile down the road.

You found some wonderful barns. Even a pink one, but I don't know about the pink. :0) I always like the ones where you can drive right in to the upper level.

ReplyDeleteFantastic series of barns! The faded red/pink barn is quite unusual! LoL! Love the shape of the brown one w/ the elk silhouette on the side & that 1st one is awesome w/ the bridge mural & the side w/ the Bible verse & Eagle! Very creative & thoughtful!

It's been a while now since that trip. All I remember, it was the last day of our Covered Bridge expedition. It was the first part of the day as we left Kokomo, IN and traveled eastward for a while and then south, I think, HWY 19 which (using google maps) doesn't look like a major highway like I remember. We continued to travel east of Indianapolis southward. It was not in the same part of the state as the "Elk" barn.
