Tootie's Birdhouses

Recently visited my brother-in-law's Mother's home for a cookout.  EnJOYed sitting in the front yard and admiring the scenery and the birdhouses that Tootie's hubby had made from various materials.  I thought using old kitchen cabinets and their trim was a pretty clever use for birdhouse material.

Mr. G helped capture some of these shots.

Notice drainage holes.  My Dad made a lot of birdhouses too from gourds he raised.

Not a birdhouse but a bird apartment?

  1. Those are some really cool birdhouses! The fact they're being used is even better! I love the ones that look like part of the tree.

  2. Fun birdhouses! Glad to see they are being used. I have one I put up just for decoration and a little wren made a nest in it. It was fun to watch her carrying the little sticks in.
