Nature's Paint Brush

Traveling home over the weekend, caught this view with the sunset behind it and didn't stop.  Mistake.  So Monday coming back I stopped, but not near as beautiful with the sunset not behind it.  Doesn't the bright yellow tips of the sycamore trees against the dark gray background look like an artist took a paint brush and dabbed yellow paint across the scene?
